Board of Directors
Role of the Board of Directors
Yolo Farm to Fork is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that supports 69 edible garden programs throughout Yolo County and provides garden-centered and farm-based learning to students. Our passions are preserving our agricultural heritage, cultivating a taste for fresh, healthy foods, and sharing the value of eating food straight out of the garden.
With lessons that are experiential and interconnected, children learn the importance of keeping their bodies and minds healthy, what it takes to bring food to their table, teamwork skills, and lessons of stewardship of the land. We want young people to learn where good food comes from, develop a taste for healthy eating, and experience the garden as a living laboratory that inspires life-long learning and career goals.
Our Board of Directors, a group of dedicated volunteers, is responsible for setting policies and approving actions that strategically further the organization’s mission.
